What We're Looking For:

Our company is one of the fastest growing energy services companies serving customers in MA. Due to unprecedented growth, we have an immediate opening for HVAC/R technicians with a MA License with 5+ years of experience working in commercial, industrial and/or municipal type building settings. Experience in HVAC controls type projects is highly desirable, but we are willing to train.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced and well-qualified HVAC/R Service Technician serving commercial, industrial and municipal clients throughout Massachusetts. We are seeking an individual with experience in the implementation and service-related work for a wide variety of HVAC/R projects.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a journeyman.
  • Experience servicing, RTUs, split-systems, exhaust fans required.
  • Experience servicing walk-in and reach-in coolers/freezers preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and related components.
  • Thorough understanding of basic HVAC/R controls and ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment that includes sales people, engineers and project managers. May also work with our electrical division to implemented HVAC/R-related projects.
  • Interested in learning new things, eager to face a challenge.
  • Excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, including 4-panel drug screen.

Licensure/Certification requirements for this position:

  • EPA 608 Certification or,
  • Mass. Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker license required or,

Guardian Energy Management Solutions is seeking skilled HVAC/R Technicians to perform HVAC work in commercial, industrial and government facilities. The type of HVAC installs we perform includes building automation systems, variable frequency drives, premium lighting fixtures and lighting controls plus general commercial and industrial power wiring work. Our projects vary in location but the majority are within an hour's drive from our office and warehouse in Marlborough.
