Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a key player in spearheading the integration of HVAC and building automation projects. As an essential part of our operations, you will design, program, and commission advanced control systems to ensure peak performance and efficiency. This role blends technical expertise with project coordination, requiring collaboration with our internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to guarantee successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: - Craft comprehensive hardware selections and design layouts to meet and exceed project specifications. - Develop intricate flow diagrams, operations sequences, materials lists, network designs, and electrical schematics. - Engineer control system software adhering to industry best practices. - Facilitate the submittal process through meticulous coordination of technical drawings and documentation. - Oversee material logistics and work closely with factory builds and project timelines. - Provide essential support during system startups and complete system commissioning. - Resolve technical challenges by partnering effectively with subcontractors and various trades to optimize system functionality. - Document field modifications and refine as-built drawings and programming as necessary. - Lead the end-to-end customer handoff with clear documentation and operational training. - Keep all stakeholders updated on project developments, challenges, and schedules. - Maintain diligence in project documentation including time tracking and reporting. - Prioritize safety in all operational activities.
What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in building automation or HVAC control scenarios. - Practical experience in installing or commissioning Metasys systems, emphasizing knowledge of system-level controllers. - Proficiency with Metasys software applications such as CCT, SCT, RAC schedules, and Visio. - Robust understanding of the interplay between mechanical, electrical, and control systems. - Technical acumen complemented by adeptness in design and programming tools.
Beneficial Qualifications: - An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science disciplines, or 5 years of significant industry experience. - Broader knowledge and experience in control system design, commissioning, and integration in building systems.
