Ensures work meets builder needs and conducts quality-control checks on completed work. As needed due to staffing and customer needs, performs service, maintenance, and installation work. Key Responsibilities: Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer’s home Installs heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications. As needed, performs limited diagnostics. Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required Performs start-ups on air conditioning and heating systems and other components Delivers excellent customer service and sustains high levels of customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to the customer. Calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit. Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner. Collects payment from customer Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns Responsible for keeping installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and outside in keeping with the company’s professional image Follows standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed. May be responsible for completing material requisition forms and related administrative activities. How will you do it:

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians who have experience with Commerical/Industrial air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units.  We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement. We offer incentive programs and a #1 focus on employee safety. We also provide tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to perform your job and service our customers to the highest standard. 

Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for: 

Required  

  • Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, trouble shooting and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
  • Must be current member in good standing of Local 449 Steamfitters, Journeyman status.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on Commerical/Industrial air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience. 
  • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers system components.
  • Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
  • Opportunity to invest in career development.  You will enroll in training programs and JCI’s STA to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
  • You will work collaboratively with other local market mechanics.
  • Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.  Able to write and communicate to the customer problem, cause, and corrective actions. 
  • Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program.
  • Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.  
  • Prioritize safety in all forms  
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license
