Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Production Manager to lead our residential and light commercial HVAC projects from scheduling to installation. This role requires a professional with either strong HVAC sales experience or hands-on installation expertise, coupled with prior leadership or managerial experience in the HVAC industry. This job will include a minimum of 20% travel out in the field to assist techs and/or train apprentices. The Production Manager would be working alongside of 4 techs/installers and 1 apprentice and 1 sales person.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of HVAC installation teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget project completion.
Coordinate and schedule all production activities, including equipment delivery, installation, and inspections.
Collaborate with the sales team to review project scopes, provide input on labor and material needs, and ensure smooth hand-offs.
Support techs in providing offers and upselling products and services to customers while in their home.
Encourage techs to reach and surpass their weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals, based on key performance indicators put in place for your location.
Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, customer satisfaction goals, and local code requirements.
Mentor, train, and support HVAC technicians and installers to maximize productivity and performance.
Manage workload distribution and resolve any field-related issues promptly.
Monitor job costs, labor hours, and project timelines to maintain profitability.
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for timely material procurement.
Implement and enforce safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC installation, service, or production management.
Proven background in either HVAC sales or hands-on installation.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and building codes.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a similar HVAC setting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with scheduling tools, CRM systems, or project management software is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:
EPA Certification, NATE Certification, or similar industry credentials preferred but not required.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Experience with residential and/or light commercial HVAC installations.
