The HVAC Intern position troubleshoots and repairs industrial site Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems.

Position Summary

This position is 100% on-site at the Greenville site.

The Job

  • Assistwithfilterchanging,oilandgreasing,beltadjustingorreplacing,andcleaningofcoolingtowers,coils, evaporators, and condenser tubes.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing large and small rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers, hot water systems.

  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and HVAC equipment.

  • Cleans, adjusts and repairs systems, and performs service calls/Ticket Services.

  • All other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Current or recent enrollment in a HVAC degree program or certification program required.

  • Ability to use tools of the trade (e.g., multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, and hand tools.

  • Position requires the ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs. unassisted.

  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

  • Requires bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, climbing, pulling, lifting.

  • Requires the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Some exposure to hazardous chemicals and other active chemical ingredients.
