Job Description

Work with a construction crew on new installations and remodel replacements of existing HVAC systems and ductwork within the construction schedules agreed upon.  Installation of equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.  

Must be able to read, interpret and layout mechanical systems as shown on blueprints or shop drawings.

Need to possess forward thinking and show excellent problem-solving skills, as well as being able to coordinate with open line of communication with on-site Superintendent and Project Managers in office when obstacles are encountered on the job site.  

Must be able to work from plans customary to the trades area, including the ability to understand electrical schematics as they pertain to HVAC systems. 

Responsible for installing air conditioning and ventilation equipment, installing ducts and duct fittings, while adhering to company procedures, and following strict safety procedures.

Superior skills in operation of most basic power and hand tools common to the HVAC trade.
