Essential Duties/Responsibilities*: • Works under general supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications. • May tests systems to ensure proper functioning. • Identifies issues and follows-up with required repair to ensure all relevant components are working correctly to ensure compliance. • Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner. • May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed. • Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required. • Follows safety policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. * Duties may vary by location. Job Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, and enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary formal HVACR program of instruction. Good oral and written skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions, and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and ENG Heating & Cooling, Inc. employees. Physical ability to perform all the duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and weather extremes found in the (state). Examples include the ability to lift and carry a 100 lb. load (of the size and shape of an item encountered on an HVACR job) a distance of 50'; carry a 100 lb. motor up a fully extended 32' ladder. Must not have a fear of heights (acrophobia). JOB DUTIES
  • Services, maintains, and repairs residential HVAC systems
  • Determines general condition of HVAC systems, can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions, and determine extent of necessary repairs
  • Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
  • Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
  • Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
  • Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC trade experience desired
  • NATE certification preferred
