Job Description: The HVAC Warranty Service Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on residential systems that fall under warranty coverage. Working under the direction of the Warranty Supervisor and Operations Management, this technician ensures timely resolution of customer concerns, verifies system performance, and maintains a strong focus on service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties/Responsibilities* : Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems covered under warranty. Maintain and inspect ducting and HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and condition. Identify issues, recommend solutions, and perform warranty-approved repairs in the field. Troubleshoot systems and perform necessary adjustments, replacements, or maintenance. Coordinate with dispatch and Warranty Supervisor to schedule and manage daily tasks. Conduct system inspections and communicate any outstanding concerns to dispatch and the customer. Clearly explain service and warranty repairs performed to both dispatch and the customer. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of service visits, findings, and completed work via company-issued tablet or forms. Order necessary parts for warranty jobs and ensure readiness for scheduled appointments. Transport parts, materials, and tools to job sites, and provide accountability for assigned items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and company vehicle. Uphold company standards of performance, ethics, and customer service. Ensure protective gear (e.g., floor savers) is worn when working in customer homes. Adhere to safety policies and follow all applicable procedures.   • Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
  • Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
  • Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have prior, successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industry
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
  • Clean driving record
 
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
