Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

Focus on the strategic & tactical decisions that drive company growth. Responsible for developing and implementing unique operating concepts and the profitable operations of the division. Work closely with divisional specialty staff to ensure fleet utilization, inventory maintenance, acquisition integration, implementation of policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

  • Achieve and maintain buy-in with newly acquired businesses to provide a smooth transition into Sunbelt Rentals
  • Ensure appropriate alignment of the newly acquired business with Sunbelt's core values and mission
  • Facilitate relationships between newly acquired business and Sunbelt Rentals through effective communication
  • Participate in acquisition due diligence
  • Work closely with divisional vice presidents and fleet department personnel in identifying and evaluating the disposal of equipment
  • Maintain the standardization of used equipment pricing based on parameters set forth by Sunbelt
  • Review company documentation regarding fleet transactions on a continual basis
  • Develop, direct, and monitor short-term and long-term plans consistent with overall profit and growth objectives of the region
  • Develop and direct the implementation of the operating plan
  • Maintain a positive financial posture for the division and monitor expense activity

Requirements:

Education and Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in corporate or multi-unit retail or rental environment.
  • Must have proven track record of P/L accountability
  • Experience managing the integration of acquisitions
  • Advanced knowledge of the construction industry preferred
  • Organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills are necessities
  • Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, spreadsheets, and database applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success developing relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Strong business and technical acumen, good analytical skills
  • Good project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Base Pay Range: $94,248.00 - 129,591.00
