Repair and maintain hot water systems, wall heaters, ventilation units and air conditioning units. Replace fans, belts, motors, gaskets, filters, and compressors. Adjust and install switches, gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing, transformers, pressure regulators, controllers, and other parts. Descale tubing, cut and thread pipe, make pipe and electrical connections. Add refrigerants and oil; test for defective parts; make electrical repairs related to air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment. Determine requirements for parts, materials, supplies, tools and equipment; establish cost of repairs and equipment replacement; check and test new equipment. Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools utilized in the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition. Perform related duties that are assigned. Are you an experienced HVAC Service Technician looking to supplement your income while maintaining work-life balance? Elevate Home Services is growing fast and is now hiring part-time weekend technicians to join our team!

This role requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays—you’re welcome to work additional days if desired, but weekend availability is a must. Even if there are no calls on Sunday, you'll still be paid a minimum of 4 hours, ensuring your time is valued.

Position Highlights:

What You'll Do:

  • Expertly troubleshoot and execute repairs on a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Identify potential maintenance issues and risks associated with equipment.
  • Diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems, providing accurate solutions.
  • Promptly and efficiently perform emergency repairs to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
  • Maintain strict compliance with appliance standards and adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Consistently meet service standards, follow work instructions, and fulfill customer requirements.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships while continually enhancing your understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development within the HVAC field.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (HVAC).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Enjoyment in interacting with people, coupled with outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort and proficiency in working efficiently in confined spaces, prioritizing safety and quality in all tasks.
