Ways you will make a difference Test performance of electromechanical assemblies 12v,24v,240v,480v,(ac/dc) using test instruments. Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly. Troubleshooting, replace of PLC's (input and output), HMI's, photo eyes, proximity switches, sensors, relays, motor controls. Repair, or calibrate assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances. Preformed preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs. Fabricate brackets and guards necessary for machine operation. Install, set up and troubleshoot A/C and D/C VFD's. Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction and failure of operational equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Recommend and initiate modification and replacement of equipment that failed to meet acceptable operating standards. Collaborate with management heads to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs and to schedule inspections and major overhauls in coordination with other operating activities. Repair and replacing low/high pressure pumps, diaphragm and piston pumps. Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housing and assembly, using soldering equipment and hand tools if needed. Role Summary The M/E Engineer 1 will complete entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. This position will be responsible for collecting and assembling data, learning how to develop estimates and helping to generate systems and bid analysis. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. Autonomy & Decision-Making: Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor. Key Role Responsibilities- Core M/E ENGINEERING FAMILY- CORE Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates, based upon program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating system. Assists in the review of mechanical and electrical options as part of the preconstruction process and completes systems analysis for select projects. Learns to develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work used to coordinate during the bid process. Assists in the completion of bid analysis and provides input during the subcontractor selection process. Assists in developing sequencing requirements of various systems and providing solutions to meet the schedule requirements. Gains knowledge of design documents in order to identify potential quality problems to assist in developing constructability review reports. Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality and timely manner. Learns and assists with the shop drawing/submittal process to comply with the contract documents. Assists with the commissioning process including developing pre-functional checklists, functional testing procedures and actual functional testing. Key Role Responsibilities- Additional Core Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. Communication skills, verbal and written (Intermediate). Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications. Proficiency in basic JE Dunn construction M/E tools and software. Knowledge of the means and methods of construction management. Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally. Education Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field (Required). In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience 0-2 years construction experience and/or summer internship/co-op experience in construction (Preferred). 3rd Shift Opportunity, 10:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.

Seeking a talented, Electrical Maintenance Technician to help our organization grow and improve efficiencies. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will provide technical support, hands-on execution and direction to facilitate maintenance activities including troubleshooting, major overhauls, and critical downtimes.

Work Location & Schedule

Position requires ability to work overtime. As a result, it may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Test performance of electromechanical assemblies 12v,24v,240v,480v,(ac/dc) using test instruments.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
  • Troubleshooting, replace of PLC's (input and output), HMI's, photo eyes, proximity switches, sensors, relays, motor controls.
  • Repair, or calibrate assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances.
  • Preformed preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
  • Fabricate brackets and guards necessary for machine operation.
  • Install, set up and troubleshoot A/C and D/C VFD's.
  • Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction and failure of operational equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Recommend and initiate modification and replacement of equipment that failed to meet acceptable operating standards.
  • Collaborate with management heads to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs and to schedule inspections and major overhauls in coordination with other operating activities.
  • Repair and replacing low/high pressure pumps, diaphragm and piston pumps.
  • Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housing and assembly, using soldering equipment and hand tools if needed.
  • Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction and failure of operational equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, and removed and replaced worn and defective parts of drive mechanism and systems.
  • Inspected electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment and compliance.
  • Follow NFPA 70E code Realign and adjust components, repair broken parts using various hand tools

Skills that will make you successful

  • PLC troubleshooting along with VFDs
  • Ability to read and comprehend electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints, schematics, assembly drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and other technical literature.
  • Exhibit good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards at all times and adhere to GMP and SSOPs.
  • This position requires knowledge and awareness of manufacturing and industrial sites.
  • Protective gear will be required where appropriate.
  • The position requires the ability to work overtime, and weekends dependent on business needs

Education: related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of electrical or mechanical maintenance experience or a minimum of a combination of 3 years' experience and education
