  • Qualified Technician with +5 years of relevant boiler experience will receive a $5000 signing bonus! ($3000 paid upon hire, $2000 paid after 90 days)

Essential functions:

  • Focus on boiler controls and electrical functions
  • Installs equipment to be tested or evaluated.
  • Perform burner and combustion testing
  • Collects data from testing (combustion/burner, pressure, temperature and emissions).
  • Creates or modifies parts to resolve problems with fabrication, assembly, or performance.
  • Maintains facilities and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and performance issues.

Basic Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, 2 year degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2 - 5 years. Education may count as work experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Organizational abilities for data record keeping
  • Reading comprehension
  • Understanding of engineering concepts
  • Strong understanding of electrical/controls

Physical Skill & Effort: Work requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work requires mostly moderate physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include: face shield, respirator etc.
