As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at ROCKWOOL you will be responsible for maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of the latest electrical equipment. What you will be doing: Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software. Perform Electrical and PLC tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors. Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs, keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift. Provide electrical and instrumentation support to the functional area to ensure production can continue in a safe and effective manner. Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Install, visually examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, transformers, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.   • Act as a ROCKWOOL ambassador demonstrating our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Responsibility and Efficiency.

What you will be doing:

  • Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software.
  • Perform Electrical and PLC tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors.
  • Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs, keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift.
  • Provide electrical and instrumentation support to the functional area to ensure production can continue in a safe and effective manner.
  • Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
  • Install, visually examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, transformers, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
