The Electrical Engineer will take the lead in commissioning and startups and troubleshooting of equipment, in addition, the Electrical Engineer will represent CDH on corporate electrical teams (standards, policies, etc.). The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as the site electrical resource: write and maintain procedures to perform tasks and maintain hazard analysis. Coordinate and oversee the design, build or procurement and maintenance of all machine electrical and control systems. Define and document electrical control system requirements for equipment design to meet all expectations and RAGAGEPs including NRTL, OSHA, NEC and State of DE regulations. Develop and maintain a program designed to ensure documentation of machine code and electrical schematics (for PLC/HMI/Drive systems) are accurate and current. Ensure that all designs, whether designed in-house or by a 3rd party, are adequately documented and documentation is available for maintenance, redesign, and compliance with corporate, state regulations and electrical code. Provide technical guidance and review for electrical procedures, programs and safe work practices. Provide engineering support and expertise for Process Safety Management (PSM) activities through participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
