POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT Moss' Solar Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, Electrical will work in concert with the Engineering Services team to ensure that all digital files and drawings are aligned across different disciplines. Cross-functional problem solving is a key component of the everyday responsibilities of this role. Additionally, this position will be responsible for reviewing drawings from multiple engineers, along with other digital design files. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Be familiar with utility-scale solar project designs, including single line drawings, electrical site plans, DC and AC wiring diagrams, and equipment layout. Understand the construction applications of solar power plant design, including PV string sizing, DC and AC conductor and conduit sizing, and racking/tracker design and powering. Have direct and relevant experience with the latest solar and battery storage equipment, including solar panels, inverters/transformers, racking systems, and battery systems. Ability to review scope of work documents and analyze the design implications of different requirements. Own portions of the project lifecycle - from design to construction support. Provide mentorship and support to junior team members on the Engineering Team for a Senior-level Project Engineer. Comfortable traveling cross-country to perform site visits and provide technical support to construction teams. Support field teams with various technical requests. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline is required - an electrical engineering degree is preferred. 0-1+ years' experience for a Project Engineer and 2+ years' experience for Senior Project Engineer in the solar construction industry or direct engineering management on solar construction projects - solar experience is required. Knowledge of electrical design, materials, and methods of construction in power systems. Proven ability to work across multiple systems and manage design documentation. Knowledge and experience using SAM and/or Cymcap to perform detailed thermal analysis and calculate ampacity of power cables under various installation conditions is a plus. Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) as it relates to utility-scale power plants is a plus. Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to organize and present complex technical information effectively in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Highly organized and able to multitask multiple projects at once. Minimum Qualifications : Qualified candidate will have a minimum 7 years’ power plant operations experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ICE Technician. Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be familiar with DCS control systems to include creating and modifying logic, troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member Ability to make safe, well thought-out critical decisions Ability to effectively problem solve Ability to safely operate equipment Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities : Combined Cycle experience preferred Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, Outlook, and OneDrive Education Required : High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred. POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Solar Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, Electrical will work in concert with the Engineering Services team to ensure that all digital files and drawings are aligned across different disciplines. Cross-functional problem solving is a key component of the everyday responsibilities of this role. Additionally, this position will be responsible for reviewing drawings from multiple engineers, along with other digital design files.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be familiar with utility-scale solar project designs, including single line drawings, electrical site plans, DC and AC wiring diagrams, and equipment layout.

  • Understand the construction applications of solar power plant design, including PV string sizing, DC and AC conductor and conduit sizing, and racking/tracker design and powering.

  • Have direct and relevant experience with the latest solar and battery storage equipment, including solar panels, inverters/transformers, racking systems, and battery systems.

  • Ability to review scope of work documents and analyze the design implications of different requirements.

  • Own portions of the project lifecycle - from design to construction support.

  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members on the Engineering Team for a Senior-level Project Engineer.

  • Comfortable traveling cross-country to perform site visits and provide technical support to construction teams.

  • Support field teams with various technical requests.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline is required - an electrical engineering degree is preferred.

  • 0-1+ years' experience for a Project Engineer and 2+ years' experience for Senior Project Engineer in the solar construction industry or direct engineering management on solar construction projects - solar experience is required.

  • Knowledge of electrical design, materials, and methods of construction in power systems.

  • Proven ability to work across multiple systems and manage design documentation.

  • Knowledge and experience using SAM and/or Cymcap to perform detailed thermal analysis and calculate ampacity of power cables under various installation conditions is a plus.

  • Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) as it relates to utility-scale power plants is a plus.

  • Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to organize and present complex technical information effectively in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Highly organized and able to multitask multiple projects at once.
