In addition to plan development, this role plays a key part in ongoing quality oversight, issue resolution, document tracking, and field coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, document, and maintain the QA/QC Plan for all electrical, instrumentation, and control system scopes. - The Summer Internship is expected to start May/June 2026 and continue on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) on-site to August/September 2026 with the potential to extend to the end December 2026.
- This role requires a successful candidate to be on-site at our San Francisco office.
You will...
- Own board bringup and automated board testing.
- Collaborate with the design team to prepare test plans based on design requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all key functions and edge cases are covered in the test plan.
- Write, debug, and optimize test scripts for automated board testing.
- Coordinate with software team to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Use tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers for troubleshooting.
- Perform root cause analysis and work collaboratively with the team to resolve them.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test findings and resolved issues.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelors or MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Prior experience or coursework related to microelectronics.
- Familiar with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet interface design.
- Proficient with lab tools such as bench power supplies, multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and soldering station.
- Strong background in EE fundamentals- Analog and Digital circuits.
- Familiar with EE CAD tools- Altium, orCAD, etc.
- Familiar with scripting languages; Python preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The US yearly hourly range for this role is: $35 - $44 USD/hr in addition to competitive perks. Waabi (US) Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The hourly base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
