Terran Orbital Corporation is seeking a(n) experienced Spacecraft Electrical Integration Lead at our Irvine, CA location. As a Spacecraft Electrical Integration Lead, the candidate will provide leadership to the electrical integration team in addition to being a contributor working within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative spacecraft solutions for internal and external customers. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of electrical integration engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Develop and implement processes and tools to support spacecraft electrical integration, ensuring team alignment with project goals. Provide technical guidance and support, monitor progress, and resolve technical and integration issues efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineering, to ensure seamless integration of systems and timely project completion. Partner with the spacecraft design team to develop electrical system requirements, architecture, and subsystem designs, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Design and modify detailed harness schematics, drawings, and data packages for integrating electromechanical components, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and procedures for electrical system integration activities. Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, industry standards, and engineering best practices, participating in design reviews, audits, and inspections. Evaluate supplier capabilities and participate in technical reviews to facilitate source selection and ensure supplier quality. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve integration processes. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 8+ years of experience in developing wire interface diagrams, creating detailed wire harness assembly drawings, and building electrical pinout packages. Expertise in system integration test procedure development and execution. Proficiency in spacecraft electrical system architecture definition and design. Hands-on experience with wire harness manufacturing and installation for space applications. Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, Zuken E3, etc.). Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
