Read and interpret the blueprint. Get setup ready, whether it is a self-setup or a setup box. Able to train others on set-ups. Assemble the parts using the setup and to blueprint specifications. Perform repair (under FAA guidelines) as required. Read ATP and follow its procedures to test the parts, if ATP is required for the part. Fill out test data to record results of the ATP if required. Test parts from outside sources and answer any questions, when necessary. Train and help less skilled or experienced employees to learn a specific job, procedure, or process. Moderate troubleshooting, readily identify problems, isolate the root cause, and offer solutions. Consistently able to perform assembly of job orders to set time standards. Able to learn new jobs and look for opportunities to help out where needed and complete job orders on schedule. Assists with meeting departmental goals and initiatives for on-time and quality. Requirements Required to have 2-3 years of experience in assembly work and 1-3 years of tech school training. Solder Certification/or/experience a plus The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $21.00/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications in a similar role. Summary of Job:

Ability to assemble component parts according to blueprint specifications, manufacturing work instructions, and/or other document controlled instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receive job order from supervisor or lead, and get corresponding blueprint.
  • Read and interpret the blueprint.
  • Get setup ready, whether it is a self-setup or a setup box. Able to train others on set-ups.
  • Assemble the parts using the setup and to blueprint specifications.
  • Perform repair (under FAA guidelines) as required.
  • Read ATP and follow its procedures to test the parts, if ATP is required for the part.
  • Fill out test data to record results of the ATP if required.
  • Test parts from outside sources and answer any questions, when necessary.
  • Train and help less skilled or experienced employees to learn a specific job, procedure, or process.
  • Moderate troubleshooting, readily identify problems, isolate the root cause, and offer solutions.
  • Consistently able to perform assembly of job orders to set time standards.
  • Able to learn new jobs and look for opportunities to help out where needed and complete job orders on schedule.
  • Assists with meeting departmental goals and initiatives for on-time and quality.

Requirements

  • Required to have 2-3 years of experience in assembly work and 1-3 years of tech school training. Solder Certification/or/experience a plus
  • The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $21.00/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
