Additional Experience Qualifications The following experience/skills are required for this position: Candidate must demonstrate 10 years work experience as an Electrical Designer, including experience with Equipment Layout, Grounding, Raceway Layout, Lighting Systems, and Schematics, Connection and Wiring Diagrams. Significant experience using 2D-Microstation and Hexagon’s S3D software, is required. Experience: 7 years of professional experience in: Design, development, testing, and supervising integration of electrical and electronic equipment. Areas including: Systems Analysis Systems Architecture Systems/Equipment Support Test and Evaluation Logistics support of C4ISR or similar requirements.   • Work directly with engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings and electronic images.  
  • Electrical design by assignment.
  • Design systems based on written and verbal descriptions from engineers that meet all requirements.  
  • Inter-discipline coordination with all departments and customers to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.  
  • Work from customer drawings, company drawings, or specifications.  
  • Provide basic calculations, field survey, and construction administration support. 
  • Drafting in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.  
Education and Experience: 
  • Degree from a recognized training facility, or equivalent experience with Auto-CAD and REVIT. 
  • 3 years experience in drawing/designing using Auto-CAD and REVIT.
Special Requirements:
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
  • Must be a self-starter and able to contribute in design reviews.
