Duties include following all Clorox Plant safety rules, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, performing PMs, ensuring stock of critical spares, executing work orders. This facility utilizes automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute disinfecting wipes. The plant has a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment that must be maintained and repaired Successful candidates must demonstrate detailed working knowledge in many technical areas, have the ability, competence, and aim to troubleshoot these systems with minimum supervision to enable reliable manufacturing. Starting Hourly rate: $38.86 with a shift differential for overnight hours. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package. In this role, you will: Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to prevent, resolve, and eliminate various process failures and equipment breakdowns (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, controls, etc.). Troubleshoot motor and motor control problems. The technician needs to have thorough knowledge of all VFDs, PLCs, and servo motors used in plants. Clean work area after each job and maintenance of the workstation. The Sr. Electrical Controls and Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading technical projects, responding to day-to-day production needs, and providing direction to a team of electricians, controls and instrumentation, and networking engineering technicians. What you'll do in this role: Provide periodic support of manufacturing and facility electrical systems, using root cause failure analysis techniques to direct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation in a high-throughput manufacturing operation Provide direction and be able to execute the programming, installation, and technical troubleshooting support of PLC ladder-logic based hardware and software applications Lead prioritized controls upgrades and overhauls to manufacturing production equipment Lead and direct programming updates to Allen Bradley PLC ladder programs, connect Laptop Computer to PLC via network protocols Maintain and organize programmable logic controller (PLC) backup files using state of the art software and maintain/catalog these backups for support. Interpret electrical and electronic symbols and their functions as they pertain to electrical drawings/schematics. Provide electrical and controls guidance with new equipment installations Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, machinery assembly drawings, create component hardware BOMs, and determine additional system/hardware components for the design of electrical control systems and diagrams to perform required maintenance and service. Installation and integration of power distribution systems including MCCs and Power Distribution Panels Assist in developing and implementing a robust pipeline of automation technology to improve productivity Provide leadership and serve as a technical resource to associates training in the electrical discipline. Estimate the technical effort and cost required to implement MES solutions as well as proactively reporting on project progress against schedules. Assist with and provide guidance for the compliance of plant safety regulations such as (Arc Flash Electrical Safety- NFPA-70E; LOTO, Energized Work Permits, Safe Cell Entry). Perform work audits for self and other associates Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or another closely related field. Technical experience may contribute towards the desired education What you'll need to be successful: 5+ years of applicable engineering, IT, and/or operational experience Demonstrated competence in controls engineering or maintenance experience Demonstrated competence with Ethernet I/P controls networks Knowledge of C# programming Knowledge of SCADA systems and SQL database systems including queries and analysis Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects, with focus on automation in fast-paced manufacturing environments The ability to plan and organize by setting goals and priorities to accomplish results Interpersonal communication skills are needed to communicate business and technical needs The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $111,500.00 - $131,200.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary. V2X Professional Services is looking for skilled Automotive Electrical Technician/Instructor This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical wiring to OEM standards, diagnosing problems with all vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical repair equipment for an automotive manufacturer. The ability to Coach, Mentor and Instruct Training programs. Active United States Passport is a plus, Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Provide weekday and/or weekend on-site vehicle repair at an OEM vehicle assembly facility
  • Install new vehicle wiring systems per OEM standards
  • Repair and troubleshoot immobilizer and alarm systems
  • Diagnose electrical issues and execute a course of action
  • Provide on-site leadership with estimated time for repairs
  • Repair and or replace faulty wiring, connectors or electrical systems
  • Service of electrical automotive parts
  • Service and repair electrical systems on new OEM vehicles
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Complete job reports and processing paperwork
  • Instruct and guide other repair personnel to improve their understanding of vehicle electrical systems and subsystems
  • Present and demonstrate efficient and effective methods of diagnosing and correcting vehicle electrical systems and sub-system deficiencies
  • Conduct root cause analysis to accurately identify the cause(s) of vehicle deficiencies
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other repair personnel by providing interpretation of vehicle electrical system architectures and schematics
  • Communicate and share lessons learned with site leadership and other repair personnel on a timely basis
  • Minimum of two years automotive technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems
  • Advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.
  • Ability to work well with both customers and co-workers in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work environments
  • Must have excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively at a satellite training facility
  • Ability to speak Spanish.

  • Valid Driver's License
