Job Description

Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

We are looking for someone who can drive the development and design of the test framework/automation for our electrical engineering team. • Support manufacture test bring-up and yield
  • Familiarity with measurement analysis techniques such as Gate RR and Process Capability Analysis
  • Determine test strategies that optimize product safety, product reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and DFM
  • Data analysis and clear communication of results and collaboration with design engineers to resolve any product problems
  • Design and implement novel test hardware systems to facilitate fast and repeatable testing of product systems
  • Manage purchasing, build, integration, and final commissioning of functional testers
  • Support quality field failure analysis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing functional test equipment specifically for PCBAs
  • Experience interfacing with electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, power supply in software (python prefered)

  • Understanding of peripherals and developing test and validation strategies
  • Understanding of Product Release Cycle from prototype to production and key deliverables of each phase
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product development from prototype to production
