The Lead Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal role within the Adult & Feminine Care Value Stream Engineering Optimization Team, driving transformational improvements in asset performance and cost efficiency. This role interacts frequently with Mill Operating Teams, Staff Manufacturing, Research & Development (R&D), Planning, Distribution, and Procurement. In this role, you will: Flow to work as part of the Value Stream Engineering Optimization Team. Expected to be able to support manufacturing and converting activities across all Adult & Feminine Care. In the event of escalation, assist AO teams to return asset to target results. Drive the development and execution of the OEE plans for assets. Coordinate and lead targeted onsite action plans. Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams. Significant presence at Adult & Feminine Care mills is expected. Support and implement strategy deployment process for capacity and capability liberation supporting the Adult & Feminine Care OEE Strategy, Supply Chain Priority Initiatives, and Cost Transformation requirements. Provide technical leadership of sector wide initiatives that improve Supply Chain OEE. Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes R&D, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers. Partner with mill teams keeping a customer focused mindset. Maintain and grow technical and scientific expertise in areas of industrial software, drives, and controls. Be able to communicate impact of developments on Kimberly Clark processes. Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by KC policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability. Role Overview: As part of the Elizabeth Upgrade project the full electrical system of the existing container terminal will require to be overhauled and partially rebuilt. As the scope of the project includes the decarbonization of the facility the demand on the electrical infrastructure will significantly increase and the new setup needs to cate for this. The objective of this position is to under general direction from Head of Asset Delivery, specify, design, procure and implement all activities relating to the Electrical works. This includes works relating to infrastructure, buildings, and equipment. The Electrical Engineer will lead the electrical package to be contracted in multiple parts and as part of several overarching contracts. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Support the Head of Asset Delivery to drive and lead the Electrical Engineering aspects of the project – execution and delivery of all electrical works in line with the project’s scope, timeline, quality, budget and objectives. The Lead Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal role within the Adult & Feminine Care Value Stream Engineering Optimization Team, driving transformational improvements in asset performance and cost efficiency. The Lead Electrical Engineer collaborates closely with mill operations, staff teams, and cross-functional partners, the Lead Electrical Engineer will design and implement advanced solutions that elevate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), drive cost reductions to world-class benchmarks, and ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals. This role interacts frequently with Mill Operating Teams, Staff Manufacturing, Research & Development (R&D), Planning, Distribution, and Procurement.

In this role, you will:

  • Flow to work as part of the Value Stream Engineering Optimization Team. Expected to be able to support manufacturing and converting activities across all Adult & Feminine Care. In the event of escalation, assist AO teams to return asset to target results.
  • Drive the development and execution of the OEE plans for assets.
  • Coordinate and lead targeted onsite action plans. Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams. Significant presence at Adult & Feminine Care mills is expected.
  • Support and implement strategy deployment process for capacity and capability liberation supporting the Adult & Feminine Care OEE Strategy, Supply Chain Priority Initiatives, and Cost Transformation requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership of sector wide initiatives that improve Supply Chain OEE.
  • Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes R&D, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and external service providers. Partner with mill teams keeping a customer focused mindset.
  • Maintain and grow technical and scientific expertise in areas of industrial software, drives, and controls. Be able to communicate impact of developments on Kimberly Clark processes.
  • Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by KC policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
