Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes like headworks, primary/secondary clarifiers, anaerobic digestion, cogeneration, reverse osmosis, and membrane systems. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA, and other industry standards. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with safety standards, including Cal OSHA regulations. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. The Staff Avionics RF Electrical Engineer will participate in all aspects of the development and test of RF hardware for E-Space satellite communications equipment. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in RF electrical design including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. This position will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and will work closely with various engineering teams. The successful candidate will be based in our Saratoga, CA office. What you’ll be doing: Develop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplines. Design of RF circuits including amplifiers, filters, high speed DACs/ADCs, path tuning, simulations, etc Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer. Circuit analysis including power, tolerance, and reliability related. PCBA design verification testing and system integration testing. Production manufacturing support as needed. What you bring to this role: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 10+ years of experience in RF electrical circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. Design proficiency with LNAs, PAs, filtering, mixers, signal modulation, etc. Proficiency with schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs. Proficiency performing circuit analyses in RF tools, SPICE, and Excel. Proficiency with electronic lab equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering iron, etc. Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment. Bonus points for the following: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Experience with antenna design and wireless RF links. Experience designing for space environments including radiation impacts and mitigation. Familiarity with Altium Designer FPGA design skills. C/C++ or Python skills This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $120,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
