As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for; Lead the design and development of Analog and RF electronic circuits, subsystems, and systems, from concept to production. Honeybee Robotics' Exploration Systems division is seeking an Electrical Engineer. In this role you will be interfacing with customers and inter-disciplinary project teams to develop electrical components and avionics systems. You will be responsible for flight avionics development, sample acquisition, handling devices, and other instruments used in planetary exploration and space applications. In this role you’ll interface with mechanical design, test, systems, integration, software and control engineering disciplines throughout the entire product lifecycle from conception to flight ready hardware. As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Lead the design and development of Analog and RF electronic circuits, subsystems, and systems, from concept to production.
  • Design and optimize analog circuits for signal conditioning, amplification, filtering, and data conversion.  Low frequency precision sensing.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, simulation, and modeling to ensure performance requirements are met.
  • Perform design verification testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and product requirements.

Qualifications;

  • MS in Electrical Engineering +5 years’ or BSEE + 7 years’ experience
  • Experience with sensor interfaces
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit theory, including transistor-level design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in RF circuit design techniques, including impedance matching, RF filters, and RF amplifier design.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, ADS, or MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout considerations for analog and RF circuits. 
  • ECAD Altium preferred

Location: Lafayette, CO

Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000
