Summary / Objective The purpose of this position is to successfully manage and execute Industrial Electrical projects to include Heat Tracing. The individual will support a team to complete projects safely and on schedule. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the safety of those on his/her crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations. Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while meeting customer expectations. Plan wiring and installation of secondary power distribution and heat tracing according to blueprints, schematic drawings and sketches Conduct periodic inspections using test equipment, such as voltmeter and ohmmeter and provide on-site supervision of hazardous or unusual work. Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises employee discipline, as needed. Attendance is an essential function of this job. Performs other related tasks as required and assigned. Essential Functions / Qualifications Ability to demonstrate professionalism, initiative, integrity, dependability, honesty, and judgment under stressful environments. Ability to demonstrate a focus on safety while maintaining quality and customer service. Skilled in team building, coaching, mentoring, influencing and motivating team members to achieve project goals. Qualifications Journeyman Electrician (preferred) Valid Driver's License (preferred) Construction: 2 years (preferred) Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions (preferred) Ability to travel and work varying shifts as needed to include weekends and overtime Working Conditions Work is primarily conducted on field project settings, may require occasional travel to client sites. Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere. Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel. Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes. May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis. Physical Requirements Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties. Summary / Objective

The purpose of this position is to successfully manage and execute Industrial Electrical projects to include Heat Tracing. The individual will support a team to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safety of those on his/her crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations.
  • Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while meeting customer expectations.
  • Plan wiring and installation of secondary power distribution and heat tracing according to blueprints, schematic drawings and sketches
  • Conduct periodic inspections using test equipment, such as voltmeter and ohmmeter and provide on-site supervision of hazardous or unusual work.
  • Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises employee discipline, as needed.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related tasks as required and assigned.

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
