Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities: Lead and manage a team of electricians, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance. Coordinate and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and other projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for the team. Follow all quality standards and hold team accountable to quality targets. Complete all necessary inspection checklists and documentation. Record any issues found and the corrective actions taken. Additional duties as assigned by manager. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or related equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university; technical certification; or related equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years of demonstrated maintenance or electrical experience required. Manufacturing leadership preferred. Required Qualifications/Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficient in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices. Deep understanding of the manufacturing business. Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to the Continuous Emissions Motoring System (CEMS) as well as all facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation, which includes but is not limited to, transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement, and flue gas analysis equipment. Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, and adjust, and make repairs, as needed to the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, which include but are not limited to, routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing. Operate various calibration equipment and perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repair work as assigned using proper Covanta safety practices. Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems and complete all maintenance work records. Actively participate in plant shutdown work including teardown inspection of electrical plant equipment. Maintain work area and tools in clean and orderly manner as well as performing plant and shop housekeeping chores.
