THE WORK: You’ll lead a team of up to 8 commissioning engineers, providing direction, mentoring, and performance management. You’ll perform commissioning of electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, power distribution units (PDUs), and other critical electrical equipment. You’ll conduct functional testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing to verify system performance and reliability. You’ll work closely with a team of commissioning engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities. You’ll Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in electrical systems during the commissioning process. You’ll collaborate with design and construction teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance. You’ll prepare and maintain accurate commissioning documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists. You’ll provide detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion. You’ll ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc. ) and stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to electrical commissioning. You’ll share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.*One of the following must be included: Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Oversee the engineering and design team, ensuring deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: Supervisory Responsibilities Foster the development of Foreman to grow into future Superintendents. Duties and Responsibilities Support both pre-construction and the project team in reviewing trade partners proposals, schedules, and logistics. Manage the installation of the following systems: electrical, HVAC, automation, plumbing, process piping, low voltage systems, fire/life safety, and fire protection design/construction coordination (validated and non-validated systems). Participate in review of Electrical related shop drawings and submittals. Assist in the development of full commissioning plans for all Electrical systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations. The successful candidate will possess: Strong grasp of electrical construction concepts and applicable codes. Able to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues as it relates to electrical design and construction. Ability to run complex meetings with multiple attendees, issue minutes promptly, and follow up with participants for deliverables. Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical, electrical, building systems. Good understanding of the test and balance process and requirements. Good understanding of building automation systems and sequences as it relates to MEP. Proficient in the use of current virtual design and construction software is preferred. Experience with CPM scheduling and the lean pull planning processes. THE WORK:

  • You’ll lead a team of up to 8 commissioning engineers, providing direction, mentoring, and performance management.
  • You’ll perform commissioning of electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, power distribution units (PDUs), and other critical electrical equipment.
  • You’ll conduct functional testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing to verify system performance and reliability.
  • You’ll work closely with a team of commissioning engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities.
  • You’ll Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in electrical systems during the commissioning process.
  • You’ll collaborate with design and construction teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance.
  • You’ll prepare and maintain accurate commissioning documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists.
  • You’ll provide detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion.
  • You’ll ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc. ) and stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to electrical commissioning.
  • You’ll share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.*One of the following must be included:

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in managing and mentoring teams of commissioning professionals
