ABOUT THE TEAM

The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy and operate. The team is responsible for taking products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt and Altius from paper sketches to operational systems. We work in close coordination with specialist teams to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. We are looking for software engineers, hardware engineers, roboticist, and front-end mobile developers who are excited about creating a powerful robotics platform that can be tasked and viewed in real-time through a variety of interfaces.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration
  • Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools
  • Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
  • Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware
  • Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems and products from concept to production
  • Demonstrated experience designing mixed signal circuits
  • Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation design tools
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with C
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, Github, JIRA, etc
  • Experience with developing for a safety-critical environment
  • Experience working on products used in tough environments (automotive, aerospace, defense, etc.)

US Salary Range

$146,000-$194,000 USD
