This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented individual who is ready to grow into a Project Manager role. The Traveling APM will support the Project Manager and site leadership in coordinating schedules, managing documentation, monitoring project progress, and ensuring alignment with Enterprise Electrical standards. The Traveling Assistant Project Manager will assist in the planning, coordination, documentation, and monitoring of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The APM will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, Foremen, and field teams to keep projects organized, compliant, and moving efficiently. Job Description

This is a hybrid position. Description: Using CAD to develop designs for control panels in the power industry Makes and completes recommendations for complex new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements. Completes complex material specifications, schematic preparation and follow-up to ensure proper and effective implementation. Performs complex design, development, testing, and modifications of solutions. Is able to clarify, interpret, and evaluate information on complex specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data. Identifies potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Displays original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems. Conducts and participates in peer reviews to ensure product quality. Conducts training and technical support on hardware engineering concepts and DCS system components. Keeps management updated on progress and delays encountered during development. Ability to create system specifications and control system design standards to support engineering guidelines and processes. Comfortable with 15% travel requirement. Requirements 4 to 10 years of relevant experience with the design of control systems for new and retrofit installations.
