Boeing Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) is looking for an Entry-level MP&P Technical Analyst based out of Huntsville, AL Position Responsibilities: Performs inspections of circuit cards to ensure that all technical requirements are met using a variety of tools and methods, primarily optical instruments like microscopy. Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures Participate in groups focused on test plan creation, can identify and categorize failures, assist in determining root cause, and documenting results and recommendations via data and report generation. Boeing Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) is looking for an Entry-level MP&P Technical Analyst based out of Huntsville, AL

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs inspections of circuit cards to ensure that all technical requirements are met using a variety of tools and methods, primarily optical instruments like microscopy.
  • Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
  • Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures
  • Participate in groups focused on test plan creation, can identify and categorize failures, assist in determining root cause, and documenting results and recommendations via data and report generation.
  • Communicates proposals intended to develop and validate revisions to procedures and specifications
  • Aid in determining suitability of parts, materials and processes
  • Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology
  • Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location above.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience with failure analysis (performing or review)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): 

  • Associate Degree or apprenticeship in electrical or circuit card manufacturing
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience leading analytics, research, testing and optimization efforts
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Level 1: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
