This position resides in the Reliability Team in the Infrastructure Reliability Group in the Integrated Operations Support Division, F&O Directorate. As part of our team, you will collaborate with system stakeholders and various operations personnel to employ the reliability program for F&O managed equipment throughout the facilities and systems. Requirements: Review available system drawings (P&IDs) to include steam, chilled water, potable water, compressed air and wastewater systems. Perform system walkdowns to create new or validate existing P&IDs to reflect as built conditions. Assist in the field with data gathering for installed parts and assets. Complete initial CMMS system hierarchy. Perform initial inventory counts and train stakeholders on inventory management methods. Work with system stakeholders to document system integration and interfaces and the impact of cascading failures (FMEA). Work with system stakeholders for labeling system components to match drawings. Support asset tracking and populating the CMMS with system and maintenance information. Support and implement the strategic asset management plan. Provide input into the development of program sustainability.   • Perform calculations and analyses using specialized design software
  • Produce technical drawings and documentation
  • Assist in developing study reports and responding to contractor inquiries
  • Conduct field investigations and site assessments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations, including ASHRAE standards
  • Collaborate with team members and interact directly with clients


Must-Haves as the Electrical Engineer:

  • 4+ years as a Electrical Engineer designing for higher ed, K-12, and/or city/county government projects
  • 4+ years of experience designing lighting system components (fixtures, controls, circuiting, details, etc.)
  • Experience developing electrical power system components (electrical gear, circuiting, details, etc.)
  • Experience with low-voltage system components (fire alarm, communications, access control, security, audio/video, etc.)
  • Experience interfacing with customers, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Okay with working onsite
  • BS inElectrical, MEP, or Construction Engineering


Nice-To-Haves as the Electrical Engineer:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Electrical or MEP Engineer designing systems for higher ed, K-12, and/or city/county government projects
  • PE or EIT
  • MS in Electrical or Construction Engineering
