Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems. Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting. Assist in completing all electrical repairs and replacements to applicable code. Assist in the completion of all required documentation on services and collects, records, and delivers fees to office administration. Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools. Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried. Follow state and local laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes. Assist in preparing a detailed finding report with pictures for the Team Lead to discuss with the customer. Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet. Assist in recording all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing. Understand when to issue a "Lock Out/Tag Out" tag and the required follow-up steps. Protect customer's home from damage while working and leave customer's home cleaner than when you arrived. Inform a team lead/supervisor/manager if the customer does not have electrical service before leaving the call. Informs team lead/manager or team leader of any safety issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Pursuing State Electrical License preferred. A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to three years' experience preferred but not required in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues. A valid driver's license and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier. Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through. Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals. Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations. Team player working in a team environment. Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS. Requirements: Work in outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) at least 50% of the time. Climb ladders and steep stairs. OVERVIEW The Electrical Design Engineer is experienced in the design of electrical and fire systems for the commercial real estate development industry. In this role, you will work with a team of engineers designing electrical and fire alarm systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-unit residential facilities. The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location, and certifications/licensure. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Applies technical knowledge to design solutions for complex and unique problems. Electrical system design for distribution, power, fire alarm, and lighting for commercial and residential projects. Manages multiple projects. Uses many different equations, applications, and figures to ensure the proper procedure application, including electrical load and short circuit calculations Perform existing conditions as-built documentation. Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing engineers on projects. Perform system evaluation and report generation. Review submittals and perform final inspections on installations. Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships. Understands and applies the National Electrical Code, NFPA 72, and MA State Building and Energy codes. Coordination with other engineering team members. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, and CERTIFICATIONS: B.S. Electrical Engineering degree or higher. P.E. This is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety, and customer loyalty.

The Senior Electrical Project Manager will be ultimately responsible for day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk and business management of a project. Management will be of electrical commercial projects within our DPR core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial. They will work closely with all members of the project team as well as Project Executives and Regional Leadership. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Management of all project team members (Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinator).

  • Mentor, develop, and train team members for fast-paced growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission of EIG.

  • 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.

  • Cost control, billings, and collections for assigned project.

  • Act as the key point of contact with owner and architect.

  • Challenge & support jobsite and self-perform work team.

  • Accountability for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.

Required Skills and Abilities

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.

Education and Experience

  • Experience with running multiple complex, highly technical projects preferably within DPR's core markets.

  • 10+ years of Project Management within Electrical Commercial Construction.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Physical Requirements

  • In person at our job site in Abilene, TX.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Travel to and from the office as well as assigned job site(s).
