Job Summary As a Principal Electrical Engineer at Red 6, you will play a critical role in the design and development of next-generation augmented reality systems for demanding aerospace environments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex electrical designs, including requirement derivation, circuit architecture, detailed design, integration, and qualification testing. Your work will directly contribute to fielded, high-performance AR systems that meet stringent aerospace and military standards. This is a technical contributor role with a focus on hardware design, engineering excellence, and system integration. While this role has no formal management duties, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes as the company evolves. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. What You'll Get to Do

CACI is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to provide technical support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) for the electrical maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of industrial-level test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in support of the Test and Evaluation of Department of Defense (DoD) ship systems.

More About the Role

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of basic low voltage electrical systems and electronics components.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades to high voltage electrical system and related peripheral equipment.
  • Prepare facilities for tests and assist engineers as directed.
  • Operate test facilities and test equipment during the conduct of scale model tests.
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and systems by performing preventive maintenance and/or repairs.
  • Install conduit, cable, wiring, transformers, circuit breaker panels, sub panels, lighting fixtures and networking equipment.
  • Correct deficiencies found during scheduled maintenance of test facilities and respond to emergency breakdowns.

You'll Bring These Qualifications

  • Journeyman Certification, Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, or trade school diploma
  • Able to demonstrate experience performing work on circuits up to 2400VAC.
  • Experience with bending and fabrication of electrical tubing.
  • Functional ability with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to understand standard policies and procedures and be able to work and communicate well with others in a team setting.
  • Detail oriented with a flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving in line with policies and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane; Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required; While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location.
