About the Role The role of the Electrical Engineer is to provide electrical support for operations as well as providing electrical experience to the site to meet technological and business needs. The Electrical Planner will be responsible for completely dissecting a technical data package (TDP) to determine appropriate build steps including electrical box assembly, wire harness fabrication, soldering, testing, etc. The electrical execution planner must effectively communicate with supervisors, cable lab techs performing the work, as well as quality control and testing personnel. The execution planner will administer production control operations and ensure continuous improvement of scheduling and sequencing processes, control and handling of inventories, on-time delivery, and cost mitigation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and military specifications • Create routers for all required operational steps from the requirements specified within the technical data package (TDP) • Identify part marking requirements • Monitor metrics for system performance management • Prioritize and sequence work, executing work plans and implementing controls • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE The Sr. Planner Maintenance - Electrical is responsible for developing and managing detailed maintenance plans to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an LNG facility. This role involves detailed task planning for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with Next Decade safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintenance planning and work management processes in an LNG or similar industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed work plans for maintenance activities, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, and special equipment and access requirements. About the Role

The role of the Electrical Engineer is to provide electrical support for operations as well as providing electrical experience to the site to meet technological and business needs. Electrical engineer may also support capital projects, support continuous improvement processes and cost saving activities.

The ideal candidate should commute to Bowling Green, KY. 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible to negotiate with vendors so that Essity’s electrical needs are fulfilled
  • Responsible for project and activity management
  • Responsible for the electrical part in capital projects and activities
  • Acts as a resource for R&D projects
  • Plans projects and follow up on costs, time and resources
  • Performs projects and trials with minimal disruption to productivity and waste
  • Ensures that all electrical jobs are properly researched and cost justified
  • Plans and directs the work performed by electrical contractors
  • Provide start up support for capital projects
  • Provides electrical design, PLC and HMI programming
  • Provides drive programming and adjusting
  • Supports R&D (HQ) in selecting components and machine parts to ensure consistence with US standards
  • Establishes and maintain good contact with R&D (HQ)
  • Establish and maintains contact with suppliers
  • Ensures that electrical documentation is upgraded
  • Provides troubleshooting support to Electrical Specialists and Maintenance Technicians
  • Identifies training needs for Electrical Specialists and Maintenance Technicians
  • Provides technical support to the Lock Out Tag Out Team to ensure that policies and procedures are adequate regarding electrical safety
  • Ensures that the site and its operations are in compliance with OSHA, NEC, NEMA and NFPA
  • Ensures that all installations and purchasing meet US- and Essity - standards
  • Ensures that sufficient maintenance is performed on the power distribution system
  • Ensures that the electrical aspect of the facility is in compliance with production needs
  • Represents BG for new machine development 
  • Provides support for R&D on process and product development
  • Establishes a good contact with other plants within Essity
  • Ensures that applicable budgets are met on all projects and individual assignments
  • Provides leadership and direction to project members, electrical specialists, technical personal and operators

Education/Experience:

  • BS degree in electrical field or substantial progress in completion of BS degree in electrical field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good skills in using Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project
  • 5 years’ experience in electrical technology used for process production and manufacturing
  • Basic experience in CAD (Auto Cad, Elcad, Eplan)
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good understanding of our machine processes
  • Strong PC and software skills
  • Training and facilitation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of HMI programming (Siemens Pro-Tool, Future: InTouch) 
  • Experience with AC/DC drives (Socapell, SSA, Siemens (611))
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allan Bradley, Texas Instrument)
