Overview Our creative and energized engineering team is looking for a Sr. Design Electrical Engineer to design and develop Analytical Instruments in the life science industries. This individual will play a key role in new product introduction. The work will include research, design and development of new systems and devices which will be used to control, monitor, and regulate Pharma or Biotech processes in laboratory or production environments. This individual will be involved in designing print circuit board (PCB) and creating Firmware for new products control, as well as refining design for current products. Responsibilities Design and develop analog and digital electronic designs and/or modifications per product requirements. Create firmware adhering to company code quality standards. Develop test fixtures and perform tests to prove design functionality, performance, and reliability. Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction. Generate high-level block diagrams to communicate electronic designs to varied audiences. Produce quality, cost effective, error-free designs. Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and leverage it for new product development. Participated in technical design reviews, risk assessments, FMEA etc. Identify quality issues and manage resolutions utilizing techniques such as Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments and Root Cause Analysis. Develop and support product qualification protocols. Collaborate with internal and external design teams to create cost-effective, technically viable projects, optimizing efficiency, operability, and DFx principles. Evaluate new technological solutions and determine the feasibility for implementation. Support, sustain, and improve products to comply with regulatory requirements, Safety (UL, ATEX), EMC (CE) and Environment (RoHS). Qualifications Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Work Experience: 8-10+ years in electronics design and firmware development. Altium and MATLAB experience preferred. Experience with ERP (SAP, Visual) software preferred. Experience in navigating and complying with regulated environments, including FDA, USP, EU, GMP, CE, and UL standards. Preferred experience with instrumentation, especially in spectroscopy. Skills: A curious and analytical mindset, driven by a desire to contribute positively through technological innovation. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a solid work ethic. Qualifications

Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 8-10+ years in electronics design and firmware development.
  • Altium and MATLAB experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP, Visual) software preferred.
  • Experience in navigating and complying with regulated environments, including FDA, USP, EU, GMP, CE, and UL standards.
  • Preferred experience with instrumentation, especially in spectroscopy.
