Prepare, review, and approve design change forms, disposition nonconformance reports, review vendor documents and incorporate into 2D drawings and 3D models, and resolve construction issues. Design services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS. Additional Education Formal training in Computer Aided Design or 3D modeling is preferred. Additional Experience Qualifications The following experience/skills are required for this position: Candidate must demonstrate 10 years work experience as an Electrical Designer, including experience with Equipment Layout, Grounding, Raceway Layout, Lighting Systems, and Schematics, Connection and Wiring Diagrams. Significant experience using 2D-Microstation and Hexagon’s S3D software, is required. Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of National Census Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA. The following experience/skills/qualifications are preferred for this position: - - Previous SRS Design Engineering or DOE facility experience. Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred. Ideal candidates will have expertise in planning, schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), HMIs, VFDs, and implementing and commissioning engineering design projects.
