Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience required running large scale electrical projects. Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics. Electrical license preferred but not mandatory. Must have verifiable work experience and be willing to travel. Travel package is provided. Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-through. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. What you will do Under general supervision, performs installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings and personal analysis. The Industrial Electrical Technician II is responsible for assisting higher level technicians in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance. This position will troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical and mechanical facilities equipment ; replace lamps and repair lighting systems; perform inspections, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Responsibilities: Assists the team by performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems. Performs basic troubleshooting, maintenance and minor repair of low voltage lighting systems and electrical equipment such as switch gear, disconnects, faulty breakers etc. Performs basic electrical repairs to switches, outlets, and lighting ballasts. Ability to run and bend conduit and wire for new equipment locations. Operates aerial and platform lifts. Reads and understands schematics, diagrams, and specifications. Demonstrates solid understanding of Lock Out Tag Out practices and procedures. Operates a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. Five years of experience maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment in a large commercial or industrial environment , or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Monitor all construction activities scheduled with emphasis on milestones, phasing/ sequencing, submittals, efficient and balanced work flow, major test and any unique requirements needing special schedule or tracing. Monitor project for cleanliness. Monitor and inspect the GC for compliance with current safety regulations, standards, project safety plan and report any non-compliance to the Client. Immediately notify the Client when any life threatening conditions are observed, and provide assistance as necessary to remedy such situations. Provide electronic daily reports of the contractor’s and sub-contractors’ work activities witnessed during site monitoring. Provide summary of and discrepancies from the requirements of the Contract Documents. Provide daily site photos to be saved electronically at a designated location on the Client’s network. Provide support to the Senior Project Manager in all design reviews prior and during construction. Provide pre-construction, during construction and post-construction photos of the site. Provide project coordination and construction quality assurance services for the technical aspect of the project. The inspector shall physically verify correct materials delivered and/or in secured storage on or off site, proper materials installed, and percentage of work satisfactorily completed and in place and provide this information to the CM.
