We are currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer (NPE) to join our New Product Engineering Team. This role will be performed both on-site and remotely as necessary, but is based in the Greater Twin Cities area at our Chaska, MN headquarters. The Senior Electrical Engineer (NPE) is responsible for the design, development, testing, and refinement of electrical systems and tools within the IMRIS solution and portfolio. The successful candidate will provide strong technical leadership in new product development and as necessary assist the cross-functional team with improvements related to currently manufactured products. This individual will be responsible for leading engineering changes, lifecycle changes, and improving performance and reusability of existing electrical systems. Job Description

We are seeking smart, self-motivated, well-rounded Electrical Engineers Intern who excel at solving problems and seeking to improve processes in innovative ways. To be successful in this role you must value teamwork and communication as well as working closely with other engineers in small, dynamic teams.

As an EE intern, you will be responsible for evaluating the two-way mobile and portable products along with designing modifications to enhance the performance of the core platform products. These projects include detailed analysis of the existing designs and implementation of cost effective and manufacturable performance enhancements for our products. The ideal candidate must possess a broad skill set, demonstrated communication and presentation skills, analytical thinking and a desire for learning that will support sustainable career growth.

  • Some of the Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Support to Project assigned by team leader.

  • Support certification testing process.

  • Work along with team members on customer cases resolution.

  • Work along with team members on defining test plans and validation processes for components and radio certifications.

  • Use of electronic equipment such: oscilloscope, multimeters, power meter, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer, and others.

  • Major courses on communication, digital system, RF systems.
