Job Responsibilities: Perform a thorough and accurate electrical inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet. Provide electrical service and/or repair to customer units as needed. Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established. Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools. Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A minimum of three years of experience preferred but not required in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues. Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS. Responsibilities: TN State Electrical License preferred (required in KY). A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. A valid driver's license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier. Position Summary: The Electrical Technician/Engineer II position is responsible for creating design solutions and making technical decisions in electric circuit design, software design, and product or process implementation to satisfy customer requirements. Selection and application of standard engineering principles and procedures as well as innovative and collaborative problem solving to achieve business results is expected. Will work in collaboration with a range of resources and disciplines to introduce and maintain products or processes. Will be accountable for milestone completion of several simultaneous projects. Essential Job Functions Include: May be assigned responsibility for large or small projects that make a significant impact on company business results. May be responsible for multiple large projects simultaneously. Responsible for analog and digital circuit design, software development, and systems integration to meet customer, cost, and quality requirements. Work collaboratively on multi-discipline teams to design, launch, and maintain products. Document compliance to requirements, standards, and directives as required. Contribute to product innovation and intellectual property. Coordinate the efforts of team members to assure successful completion of project milestones. Technical problem solving and troubleshooting, both individually and in collaboration with a team. Works with customer's project engineers on technical details. May be assigned engineering maintenance responsibilities for major product lines. Hands-on work in workshop environment. Able to use wide range of shop tools. May participate in recruiting and selection of candidates to fill job positions. Work safely and without injury. Build effective collaborative relationships. Understand and successfully use engineering tools including circuit design, software development, and Product Lifecycle Management tools. Learn design fundamentals and electrical engineering details of product line. Make significant contribution to product maintenance and/or product innovation. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science in the engineering field or an Engineering Technology degree in electronics design. Two years' analog and digital circuit design and analysis experience. Prefer Altium Designer and SPICE experience. Two years of software development experience. Prefer experience in device embedded software in C programming language. Two years' experience in collaborative product development and meeting customer requirements. Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of the below systems or tools: electro-mechanical devices and controllers PCB lay-out. Microsoft Word and Excel Electronics Failure Mode Analysis and Test Planning Software and Firmware Failure Mode Analysis and Test Planning Analytical modelling tools (Mathcad preferred) Familiarity with electronics, automotive, and environmental standards. Ability to build and debug prototypes by hand. Ability to manage contract design and prototype services. Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and Design for Manufacturability. Strong oral and written communication skills commensurate with the job tasks and position necessary to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers while providing exceptional quality of work and outstanding customer service. Ability to present information in a manner designed to educate or inform other team members and customers in one-on-one or group interactions as directed. Ability to review, comprehend, interpret, process and evaluate effectively written work instructions and procedures written in English in conjunction with the performance of the essential functions and other assigned job duties. Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills including ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a calm, rational and respectful demeanor and communication style in times of stress occasioned by work demands, tight timelines, heavy production expectations, unexpected quality control issues, and other work-related issues or concerns that may cause a heightened level of anxiety, frustration, anger, disappointment, confusion, etc. Strong technical, trouble-shooting, problem solving, research, organizational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. Ability to multitask is also essential while remaining flexible with changing priorities and deadlines. Well-reasoned decision making with a high attention to detail regarding organization, planning, work flow, and project prioritization to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Highly ethical, self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and/or with limited direction, as well as cooperatively in a team environment, while consistently demonstrating collaborative, respectful and productive work habits. The role of a Residential Electrical Service Technician is to deliver exceptional electrical service maintenance on residential systems to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of Hiller's values.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform a thorough and accurate electrical inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet.

Provide electrical service and/or repair to customer units as needed.

Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.

Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.

Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A minimum of three years of experience preferred but not required in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues.

Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.

Responsibilities:

TN State Electrical License preferred (required in KY).

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

A valid driver's license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.

Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule

$32 - $38 an hour
