Description The Senior Project Manager of our National Technical Systems team leads the project team and has overall accountability for completing assigned construction projects successfully. The Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for cultivating opportunities for future construction projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building a financially successful project. The Instrumentation & Electrical Technician ensures that all work performed follows electrical codes and tests and inspects and repairs issues when they occur. Team members in this position will communicate any problems or concerns to the management team. This role is also responsible for reviewing all electrical procedures for the bioprocessing facility, assisting in developing pertinent electrical programs and training team members. Continuous plant operation includes 24/7 schedules. Team member must be able to meet call-in requirements as needed. Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Thursday (on-call rotation every 7 weeks) DURING A TYPICAL DAY Troubleshoot and identify a root cause, repair, or replace parts, rewire and install related instrument/electrical goods including conduit and/or wiring. Assist with emergency and scheduled shutdowns while performing regular mechanical duties as directed. Calibrate, configure, and repair of measurement/control instruments for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and pH including associated valves and valve actuators. Understand electrical and instrumentation equipment associated with plant processing equipment. Possess a strong understanding of motor control circuits and electric motors. Inform management of any instrument/electrical parts needed and assist with maintaining the required instrument/electronic/electrical parts inventories. Document and record: utilizing inventory control systems, maintaining calibration records, ordering parts, work with outside contractors, etc. Work with the management team and all staff daily to ensure the operation and all facilities are operating to standards. Understand how equipment and instrument/electronic controls operate and are utilized to operate the plant. Maintain work area to include cleanliness, serviceability, and accountability of all tools and supplies. Accomplish all other tasks, work orders, cleaning assignments or other duties as assigned by the management team. Assist in developing, training, and reviewing all pertinent instrument/electrical programs and procedures including Arc Flash Hazards and electrical integrity. Maintain licensing by attending state required code classes as required by location/leader. About the Program Our Electrical Lineworker program prepares students for entry-level employment in utility work by combining hands-on field training , core technical concepts , and industry-standard safety practices . Students learn everything from the basics of electrical theory and equipment use to climbing, pole-top rescue, and operating digger derricks and bucket trucks. As an instructor, you’ll lead students through classroom instruction, lab work, and field exercises—giving them the tools they need to enter the workforce safely and successfully. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Achieve Rosendin productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining an accurate labor tracking log. Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching those objectives on an ongoing basis. Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures. Adhere to project contract document changes and Rosendin change order notice-to-proceed policies. Fully utilize a prefabrication facility and company-wide installation methods and policies. Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work. Provide General Foreman with sufficient notice of any crew changes. Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues. Ensure crew members start and finish work shift on time; Maintain proper meal/break times per as legally required per local labor laws and regulations. Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members. Maintain complete and accurate “as-builts” as per Rosendin procedures and project requirements. Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew members, etc. Ensure all work performed meets with NEC, federal, state, county, local codes and contract documents. Adhere to all Rosendin, state and federal safety policies and procedures. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Assistant Manager the Lead Electrical Test Technician is responsible for leading a team of employees in completing electrical testing of manufactured projects. In addition, this role will complete complex electrical testing of products during the manufacturing process based on established testing procedures. What a typical day looks like: Oversees the work of assigned team employees. Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to the supervisor. Assists with the planning and preparation of training for new team members. Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments Partners with supervisor or engineering manager to resolve any issues that arise within department. Monitors testing status daily; gathers feedback from all test technicians. Follow AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams to perform testing of main electrical distribution AC/DC systems for power distribution control houses and panels. Work closely with engineering and production team members to ensure accurate, efficient and timely execution of required testing work Be able to troubleshoot assembly, wiring and testing problems Performs full functional testing on various circuits including HVAC system, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm systems, battery system, and meggering of cables.
