Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls. Collaborate with mechanical and engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performance. Strong understanding of PLC systems (Siemens preferred), VFDs, motors, and sensors. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-performance corrugated machinery at customer sites. This is a hands-on, travel-based position that requires strong electrical and PLC experience, along with a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 100% to customer sites across North America.

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on corrugated machinery.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic.

  • Support the commissioning and startup of new equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.

  • Collaborate with mechanical and engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performance.

  • Document service activities, issues, and resolutions accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, automation, or field service.

  • Strong understanding of PLC systems (Siemens preferred), VFDs, motors, and sensors.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Technical or trade school education in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively; passport or eligibility to obtain one required.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
