Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis to ensure design robustness. Support prototyping, bring-up, testing, and debugging of new designs. Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation including BOMs, test plans, and design reports. Interface with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effective production. Performs work on “hot lines” as required. Replaces coils, resistors, rheostats, relays, etc. Adjusts contractors, relays, bus rigging, etc. Reconnects terminal leads, panel boards and distribution feeders. In emergencies, shunts out defective coils in order to get equipment back in operation. Make all required splices and connector joints. Adjusts all new equipment for proper operating characteristics. Participate in review of Electrical related shop drawings and submittals Assist in the development of full commissioning plans for all Electrical systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations. Responsible for onsite construction support for MEP systems and will oversee the start-up, balancing, commissioning and validation certification of these systems, including owner training and project closeout. Develop and oversee project specific MEP quality and safety programs, including participating in safety cause mapping for post MEP safety events Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts. Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants. Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones. Lead DPR’s injury-free environment safety program. Coordinate subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and resource-loading in conjunction with DPR’s self-perform work crews. Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction concepts and applicable codes. Opportunity Summary As an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) Technician, you will be at the heart of ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency with ECAD software (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Altium Designer). Experience with PCB design, layout, and troubleshooting. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in electrical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing. Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management principles Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. 3+ years of professional experience in electrical design and analysis, particularly in aerospace, space, or data processing industries. Expertise in high-speed digital, RF, and power electronics. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++) for automation and data analysis. Experience with PCB design for space applications and radiation-hardened electronics. Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role requires deep expertise in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and a strong foundation in analog and circuit design. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex electronic systems across a range of applications, from concept through to production. This is a 3 month contract to hire, ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
    • Lead schematic capture, circuit simulation, and component selection for both analog and digital systems.
    • Develop and validate analog circuits including power supplies, filters, amplifiers, and sensor interfaces.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and manufacturing) to ensure system-level integration and performance.
    • Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis to ensure design robustness.
    • Support prototyping, bring-up, testing, and debugging of new designs.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation including BOMs, test plans, and design reports.
    • Interface with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effective production.
    • Lead and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices in circuit and PCB design.
$45 - $60 an hour
