Crafted Highlights: In the role of Electrical Specialist Lead at the RMMC Ends plant in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Technical Services Team. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our plant going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can produce as many ends as possible which drive profitability for Molson Coors Beverage Company. You will assist in keeping the plants electrical and controls systems operating properly and at their utmost efficiency by providing electrical and controls technical support, both proactive and reactive, for all the electrical and controls systems within the facility. This position reports to the Asset Care Manager - Ends. What You'll Be Brewing: Leads by example and coaches others to comply with all department and company safety rules. Skilled in working relationships, team building and communication with all levels of plant personnel. Understand and implement modern technologies, including electrical components, communication systems and control systems. Should be able to upgrade obsolete components with modern equivalents. Work to Design out Maintenance where applicable as well as driving towards improving equipment reliability through proper maintenance procedures. Works to reduce unplanned downtime by working with the Maintenance Lead to make necessary improvements in equipment. Uses data and specific procedures to determine Root-cause failure and strives to correct the problem versus the symptom. Documents all work in CMMS - SAP on a timely basis. Work as a self-motivated technician with minimal supervision, always focusing towards improving equipment reliability through well executed strategy and procedures. Supports Breakdown elimination by leading In Depth analysis to generate countermeasures that eliminate repeat failures. Supports AM Pillar in IPS/UPS activities to improve efficiencies. Lead the execution of the overhaul plan along with other necessary internal and external resources. Build and develop the capabilities of the on-shift electricians to build bench strength. Proactively performs preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, while being an active contributor and supporter of the Asset Care program. Be a leader in RMMC safety initiatives. Provides training and work-instruction certification in primary craft to trainees, peers and Production personnel. Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild electrical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications or production requirements. Collaborate with team leads, planners, and operators to reduce unplanned downtime. Documents all work and activities in CMMS (SAP) in a timely manner. Performs all other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Planner, or Leads Key Ingredients: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in leading a team. Demonstrated experience in an electrical &/or instrumentation and controls support role. Previous Experience with Controls Systems (PLC, ControlLogix, Panel View, FactoryTalk, Etc.) Must be proficient troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor-based program/diagnostic panels. Experienced in the safe use of the following: test instruments (volt/ohm multi-meters, clamp-on amp meters, meggers, transducers, oscilloscopes), hand tools specific to electrical/electronic/controls field as well as mechanical hand tools. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and PLC ladder logic along with the experience to locate and retrieve electric prints and programs using Team Center The successful candidate should have good communication skills, both oral and written The successful candidate would possess basic computer skills. In the role of Electrical Specialist Lead at the RMMC Ends plant in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Technical Services Team. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our plant going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can produce as many ends as possible which drive profitability for Molson Coors Beverage Company.

You will assist in keeping the plants electrical and controls systems operating properly and at their utmost efficiency by providing electrical and controls technical support, both proactive and reactive, for all the electrical and controls systems within the facility.

This position reports to the Asset Care Manager - Ends.

What You'll Be Brewing:

  • Leads by example and coaches others to comply with all department and company safety rules.
  • Skilled in working relationships, team building and communication with all levels of plant personnel.
  • Understand and implement modern technologies, including electrical components, communication systems and control systems. Should be able to upgrade obsolete components with modern equivalents.
  • Work to Design out Maintenance where applicable as well as driving towards improving equipment reliability through proper maintenance procedures. Works to reduce unplanned downtime by working with the Maintenance Lead to make necessary improvements in equipment. Uses data and specific procedures to determine Root-cause failure and strives to correct the problem versus the symptom. Documents all work in CMMS - SAP on a timely basis.
  • Work as a self-motivated technician with minimal supervision, always focusing towards improving equipment reliability through well executed strategy and procedures.
  • Supports Breakdown elimination by leading In Depth analysis to generate countermeasures that eliminate repeat failures. Supports AM Pillar in IPS/UPS activities to improve efficiencies.
  • Lead the execution of the overhaul plan along with other necessary internal and external resources.
  • Build and develop the capabilities of the on-shift electricians to build bench strength.
  • Proactively performs preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, while being an active contributor and supporter of the Asset Care program.
  • Be a leader in RMMC safety initiatives. Provides training and work-instruction certification in primary craft to trainees, peers and Production personnel.
  • Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild electrical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications or production requirements.
  • Collaborate with team leads, planners, and operators to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Documents all work and activities in CMMS (SAP) in a timely manner.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Planner, or Leads

Key Ingredients:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in an electrical &/or instrumentation and controls support role.
  • Previous Experience with Controls Systems (PLC, ControlLogix, Panel View, FactoryTalk, Etc.)
  • Must be proficient troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor-based program/diagnostic panels.
  • Experienced in the safe use of the following: test instruments (volt/ohm multi-meters, clamp-on amp meters, meggers, transducers, oscilloscopes), hand tools specific to electrical/electronic/controls field as well as mechanical hand tools.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and PLC ladder logic along with the experience to locate and retrieve electric prints and programs using Team Center
  • The successful candidate should have good communication skills, both oral and written
  • The successful candidate would possess basic computer skills.
  • The successful candidate would possess basic SAP skills.

Preferred Requirements (Knowledge and Experience Requirements):

  • Industrial Journeyman level and/or on-the-job experience with heavy industrial Electrical, Electrical Controls, Instrumentation and PLC's.
  • Previous Experience with Controls Systems (PLC, ControlLogix, Panel View, FactoryTalk, Etc.)
  • CCST Certifications Preferred (Level 2, Level 3) Instrumentation Control Electrician
