We have the following position in Sudbury, MA: Precision Electrical Assembler Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Electrical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling high-precision mechanical and electrical components used in CNC milling and turning machines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electromechanical assembly, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex schematics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Assembly: Install and route wiring harnesses, control panels, terminal blocks, and electrical enclosures. Connect and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, encoders, and control systems following wiring schematics and diagrams. Perform continuity testing and insulation resistance checks to verify proper electrical connections. Assemble and mount CNC control units (such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi) into machine cabinets and enclosures. Documentation and Quality Control: Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet company and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Collaboration and Safety: Work closely with engineering, quality control, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to mechanical and electrical assembly. Required Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in precision mechanical or electrical assembly (CNC or industrial equipment preferred). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, calipers, and micrometers. Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and components is a plus. Proficiency with standard hand tools and electrical crimping, soldering, and stripping techniques. Good verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: none Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% of time Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. The Electrical Control Engineer will be a member of the Power and Controls team within Lunar Avionics, working within a tightly knit group that is developing motor controllers for numerous applications across Blue Origin's Lunar vehicles. They will be responsible for developing motor control hardware, implementing FPGA-based motor controls, as well as working with various sub-system teams (cryogenic fluids, docking mechanisms, space suit interfaces, and more) to integrate these controllers with the various actuators in these systems. Precision Electrical Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Electrical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling high-precision mechanical and electrical components used in CNC milling and turning machines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electromechanical assembly, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex schematics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Assembly:

  • Install and route wiring harnesses, control panels, terminal blocks, and electrical enclosures.
  • Connect and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, encoders, and control systems following wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Perform continuity testing and insulation resistance checks to verify proper electrical connections.
  • Assemble and mount CNC control units (such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi) into machine cabinets and enclosures.

Documentation and Quality Control:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Collaboration and Safety:

  • Work closely with engineering, quality control, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to mechanical and electrical assembly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in precision mechanical or electrical assembly (CNC or industrial equipment preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and components is a plus.
  • Proficiency with standard hand tools and electrical crimping, soldering, and stripping techniques.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
