Rate of Pay: Line Worker $35.98 - $50.63, Apprentice Line Worker $22.10 - $31.10 Status: Open Until Filled    This is an “at will” apprentice training position or a Line Work position within the Electrical department responsible for assisting in rebuilding, installing, repairing of electrical lines in the Marietta Power service area. This position allows for candidates to be hired at either Apprentice Line Worker or Line Worker based on qualifications. The pay ranges listed represent steps 1-8 for both Apprentice and Line Worker with progression through the pay ranges based on successful completion of each step requirements. The employee is required to complete the job requirements and training for each step level within the apprentice line worker program. The employee performs more responsible line work as they advance through each level within the apprentice program. This position works under close supervision of an assigned Foreperson or experienced line worker as assigned.   Assists line workers in pulling or installing overhead and underground primary and secondary wires; digging ditches or holes; installing switches or capacitor banks; and installing, wiring and switching on underground switching cubicles and transformers. Provides ground support in the installation of overhead and underground primary and secondary lines, residential and commercial services and meters. More advanced apprentice levels aid in transferring live electrical primaries from one pole to another hanging and wiring transformers while working on aerial bucket and/or climb poles pole up to 100 ft. if unable to reach with bucket trucks as assigned. Provides ground support Assists in installing transformers, reclosers, capacitors, and other related parts on power poles. More advanced assignments involve single-phase transformers and building three phase transformer banks. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Electrical Technician or Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to work with high voltage systems. The Lead Electrical Technician will utilize precision measuring instruments and various tools to ensure optimal performance and safety of electrical equipment. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments to diagnose electrical issues. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively. Conduct tests on high voltage systems to ensure proper functionality and safety. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for compliance and future reference. Follow all safety protocols while working on electrical installations or repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as a Lead Electrical Technician or similar role. Professional 3 years of electrical experience in electrical controls, journeyman, instrument tech or related experience Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and their maintenance requirements. Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Determine machine sequence of operations Program given control system Ability to design and install control panels, PLC based, write ladder logic programs Skilled at installing conduit and wire Work in manufacturing environments, not just behind a desk Relevant certifications in electrical technology or related fields are a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. Job Description

BHS Corrugated North America is looking for skilled Electrical Technicians to support our digital printing systems for corrugating machinery. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where your PLC and electrical expertise will make a real impact. No prior experience with digital printing? That’s okay – we provide full training.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to customer sites across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (100% travel after training).

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair digital printing systems on corrugating machines.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, warranty interventions, and electrical service audits.

  • Read electrical schematics, calibrate equipment, and adjust drives, servos, and process controls.

  • Provide after-hours emergency support as needed.

  • Communicate with customers and complete service reports, timesheets, and expense records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong electrical and PLC skills (troubleshooting, programming, controls).

  • Ability to read schematics and work with drives, servos, and process controls.

  • Previous experience as a field service or maintenance technician is preferred.

  • Technical/trade school or AA degree is a plus.

  • Comfortable working independently and directly with customers.

  • Physically able to lift 30+ lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in varied environments (hot, cold, heights, confined spaces).

  • Willingness to travel extensively (100% of the time after training).
