Responsibilities: Work together to develop, implement, and maintain test processes for new product designs, primarily using NI TestStand and LabVIEW. Be self-motivated in addressing test issues by troubleshooting, planning, and implementing timely and effective solutions. Work closely with various teams in order to define test requirements and support product testing from design prototype through release. Communicate test functionality and data analysis interpretations to technical and non-technical audiences. About The Position The Supervisor Nuclear Maintenance directs the work of skilled personnel in work tasks and/or support activities for the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures to assure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation. Key responsibilities include: Supervise maintenance personnel in performance of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and related surveillance testing. Perform the planning, scheduling and assignment of work, and/or assist Planning & Scheduling department supervisors in work scheduling and coordination. Ensure safe and efficient use of manpower and resources, promoting high standards of workmanship, maintaining high level of equipment reliability and training of personnel in proper work practices. Ensure work activities are performed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies in an efficient manner. Ensure documentation of completed work activities is complete and accurate. Perform special studies and projects as assigned by Maintenance Department management. Assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties in accordance with Callaway Energy Center Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) including responding to assigned ERO facilities within the required response time. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences from an accredited college or university preferred. Five or more years of relevant technical power plant or similar relevant technical industrial experience is required. Nuclear Power Plant experience is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Good decision making, leadership, communication and human relations skills required. After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures (e.g., interview) designated for this position. Qualified candidates are required to establish and maintain their permanent residence within sixty highway miles of the Callaway Energy Center. Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access. Working Conditions The Maintenance Supervisor works a standard day or evening shift in an office/plant environment. Additional hours, callouts and/or rotating shifts may be required during refueling outages and emergent plant activities as the needs arise. Job Summary/Overview

The Electrical Engineer plans and designs product applications based on customer requirements and needs. The position is responsible for organizing complex components and assemblies for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineered products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives.
  • Responsible for generating bills of materials for all product designs utilizing conventional types of plans and specifications.
  • Responsible for generating wiring schematics and control cabinet layouts for hoist equipment.
  • Performs design calculations and prepares equipment or material specifications.
  • Creates/describes design procedures and specifications leading to construction documents.
  • Estimates production times and related costs to provide information for management/commercial decisions.
  • Responsible for supporting the Operations Team by developing manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building, assembling, and installing components.
  • Transitions products from product development to production.
  • Support other functions (Quality, Sales, etc.) in order to satisfy customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Ability to create designs using relevant design software.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; confirming assembly and installation processes.
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly productive environment where projects and direction can change quickly while creating thorough and detailed designs and documentation.
  • Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate in individual and group settings.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) and other related electrical design specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years design experience required.
  • AutoCAD and/or Solidworks experience required.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems or hoists desired.
