POSITION SUMMARY The role of an Electrical Superintendent is critical in successfully leading and managing large-scale electrical projects. Offer assistance, direction, and encouragement to the General Foremen and field teams, promoting a cooperative and highly productive workplace. Implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and ensure work meets established quality standards and customer expectations. Effectively handle project finances by keeping track of expenses, overseeing budget allocation, and implementing measures to manage costs proactively. Communicate regularly with Project Managers, upper management, and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Resolve conflicts, address issues, and make critical decisions to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and empower teams to achieve project goals. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ladder diagrams, and technical documents. Strong attention to detail Able to lift 50lbs and climb up and down a ladder safely. Able to work in extreme weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Design for Reliability: Implement advanced DfR methodologies to proactively mitigate potential failure modes in high-voltage and power electronic systems. Perform component derating analysis, thermal/mechanical stress evaluations, and ensure compliance with standards (JEDEC, IEC, UL). Conduct DFMECA and Fault Tree Analysis, and own the reliability requirements definition and tracking. Testing & Validation: Lead and define HALT/HASS testing protocols to expose early-life and latent design weaknesses. Develop and execute accelerated life testing (ALT) strategies across electrical, thermal, and mechanical domains, aligned with real-world usage profiles. Perform hands-on power converter validation (step load testing, power cycling, vibration testing, etc.) using lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.). Failure Analysis & Corrective Action: Investigate failures in design, validation, and field environments using advanced techniques such as SEM/EDS, X-ray, FTIR, and dye/pry methods.
