Job Details

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as the primary electrical engineering technical lead at our Lake of the Ozarks-area manufacturing facility.

This is a highly visible role supporting new product development and sustaining engineering across three active product lines. You will own electrical system architecture and complex machine designs while partnering closely with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.

The ideal candidate enjoys being close to the product and production floor, solving complex problems, asking questions, and taking ownership rather than working strictly behind a desk.

What You’ll DoLead electrical engineering efforts for complex industrial and automated equipmentDefine electrical system architecture and develop electrical designs and schematicsOwn projects from initial concept through design, testing, and productionDesign and support control panels, power distribution, machine controls, and PLC-based systemsLead electrical design reviews and provide technical direction on design changesPartner closely with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product ManagementTroubleshoot complex equipment and perform root cause analysisManage component obsolescence, ECO/ECN changes, and reliability improvementsEnsure designs meet performance, manufacturability, cost, and UL/IEC regulatory requirementsEvaluate new components and technologies for future product developmentSupport suppliers and customers on complex technical issuesEstablish engineering standards and mentor less-experienced engineers

What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering4+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, ideally within complex machinery, industrial automation, or automated equipmentStrong experience with electrical system and machine designExperience with PLCs, industrial control systems, motion control, and industrial networksExperience designing schematics, control panels, circuits, and power distribution systemsFamiliarity with UL and/or IEC requirementsExperience with new product development and design for manufacturabilitySustaining engineering experience, including root cause analysis, ECO/ECN processes, obsolescence, and reliability improvementsExperience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksAbility to independently make technical decisions and lead cross-functional projectsHands-on, curious mindset with a willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor
