Reporting to the R&D Electrical Engineering Manager, the Senior Engineer, Electrical is responsible for applying electrical engineering knowledge to design, redesign, test and model various products, subassemblies and systems for existing water quality measuring instruments. This role drives significant impact by sustaining and improving products already in production. This position is part of the Electrical Engineering located in Loveland, Colorado and will be on-site 4 days a week. In this role, a typical day will look like: Design and analyze electrical hardware circuits to reliably achieve functional requirements and quantitative specifications. Design electrical tests to verify performance of electrical hardware circuits and demonstrate insensitivity of the design to parameters including component and manufacturing variation, temperature, humidity, aging, corrosion, ESD, EMS, and vibration and shock. Complete requirements for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews. Provides knowledge in core scientific or engineering discipline to the project or business area of focus. Track developments in the electrical engineering community and incorporate them where appropriate. The essential requirements of the job include: BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience; or an MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of directly relevant experience. Knowledge of commonly used circuits, analysis and measurement tools. Knowledge of ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product Realization) and related requirements. Experience in circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis. Experience in PCB layout for AC signal integrity, DC signal integrity and EMC. Reporting to the R&D Electrical Engineering Manager, the Senior Engineer, Electrical is responsible for applying electrical engineering knowledge to design, redesign, test and model various products, subassemblies and systems for existing water quality measuring instruments. This role drives significant impact by sustaining and improving products already in production.

This position is part of the Electrical Engineering located in Loveland, Colorado and will be on-site 4 days a week.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Design and analyze electrical hardware circuits to reliably achieve functional requirements and quantitative specifications.

  • Design electrical tests to verify performance of electrical hardware circuits and demonstrate insensitivity of the design to parameters including component and manufacturing variation, temperature, humidity, aging, corrosion, ESD, EMS, and vibration and shock.

  • Complete requirements for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.

  • Provides knowledge in core scientific or engineering discipline to the project or business area of focus.

  • Track developments in the electrical engineering community and incorporate them where appropriate.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience; or an MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of directly relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of commonly used circuits, analysis and measurement tools.

  • Knowledge of ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product Realization) and related requirements.

  • Experience in circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis.

  • Experience in PCB layout for AC signal integrity, DC signal integrity and EMC.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $115000 - $145,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
