As a Power Generation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of power generation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Experience with generator high voltage testing such as winding resistance, insulation resistance, polarization index, DC leakage and high potential testing, wedge tightness, EL CID testing, end winding frequency response test, and rotor testing. Consider safety as the #1 priority and be an evangelist for safety practices. Comply with OSHA, MSHA, site-specific, and other industrial health and safety practices when at the customer job site and inside the IPS Miami shop Perform job safety analysis and risk assessments and keep on-site safety documentation Perform electrical testing and visual inspection of generators and motors.
