Responsibilities: Repair, Service, and/or installation of electrical systems. Troubleshoot all problems effectively while performing quality repairs.

Daily Tasks:

  • Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently repair electrical systems
  • Maintain company quality standards
  • Communicate estimated timelines and/or changes to work orders to the service team
  • Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed
  • Record all service work orders and report progress to service management
  • Always seek the solution that is most cost-effective without compromising quality
  • Assess systems/ equipment for any damage, malfunctions or safety hazards to prevent future issues
  • Maintain all equipment in great condition
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 4 years of commercial experience in the Electrical field
  • A valid Driver’s License
  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Must be available for on-call rotation. On-call rotation is split between the service team. Each service electrician is expected to be available for after-hours and weekend emergency calls 1 week out of the month. Techs are compensated for their on-call week.
  • Must have own tools
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial experience
