We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV- Sustainability to support districtwide capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects under the BuildLACCD Bond Program.

*Salary Range: $140K/Year-$155K/Year

Hybrid Schedule: One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support sustainability-focused electrical engineering projects under LACCD’s Bond Program
  • Support electrification of central plants and building systems aligned with the District’s Clean Energy Resolution
  • Apply sustainable building principles to resolve complex, system-level electrical issues
  • Support districtwide initiatives including energy master planning, carbon reduction, grid resiliency, and electrification
  • Perform electrical engineering analysis and prepare technical reports supporting District design guidelines
  • Ensure integration of advanced systems such as LED lighting, PV, BESS, EV charging, microgrids, and smart controls
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and schedules
