Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, GIAC certifications, etc.) are preferred. Experience working with CIS Critical Controls, NIST CSF and ISO 27001 frameworks are preferred. ABOUT THE TEAM The Platform Security team is responsible for the security of Anduril's common software platform. We ensure that the platform contains an appropriate set of well-designed security features and that the team has a strong security posture both for its own development and for the management of third party dependencies. ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for an experienced mid-level software engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you'll implement some of Anduril's most critical improvements to security, working across the stack to deliver production-quality code that meets the challenging requirements of our customers. Collaboration is key; you'll work with other teams as we make changes that potentially impact them. You'll also collaborate closely with security and software teams across the company to improve Anduril's security posture. WHAT YOU'LL DO Implement the most critical security features. You may need to work at all levels of the stack, from integrating secure hardware to developing and deploying applications. Help design new security features and security improvements to common platform services. Our scope is broad, with example domains ranging from operating system hardening, through authentication, to distributed protocols. Collaborate closely with other security practitioners and the software platform team, supporting efforts to improve Anduril's security posture while delivering on our commitments to customers. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external entities during incident response.
  • Maintain and update incident response plans and playbooks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements as needed to incident response procedures, tools, and controls.
  • Work with various stakeholders on the appropriate tactics to protect the organization.
  • Proactively work with partners and suppliers to achieve objectives on time and within budget.
  • Direct and/or take appropriate action with partners to build enterprise class solutions, respond to issues/threats, and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Actively engage in the greater Information Security and privacy community (e.g. peer groups, seminars, conferences, etc.) to help identify new technologies, new techniques and new partners.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience working in incident response roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security or equivalent is required.
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, GIAC certifications, etc.) are preferred.
  • Experience working with CIS Critical Controls, NIST CSF and ISO 27001 frameworks are preferred.
