Overview

Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a Cyber Defense IASAE Level III to join our cybersecurity engineering team in Chantilly, VA. This senior-level role focuses on the design and security of information systems architecturesfor a mission-critical Intelligence Community program.As an IASAE, you will be responsible for end-to-end security engineering—from concept and design to integration and implementation—while ensuring compliance with ICD 503, DoD IA standards, and NIST-based policies.

What will you do?

  • Design and secure complex information systemarchitectures across enterprise networks, servers, and applications.
  • Engineer end-to-end system security solutions, ensuring integration throughout the lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain protections including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, switches, routers, and boundary defense tools.
  • Guide security implementation in alignment with ICD 503 and DoD IA Certification & Accreditationprocesses.
  • Provide expert-level cybersecurity guidance to senior government stakeholders.
  • Support NRO security policy compliance and RMF workflows.
  • Contribute to and review security documentation including SSPs, CONOPS, CM Plans, and POA&Ms.

Do you have what it takes?

Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, INFOSEC, Information Management, or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of IASAE experience.
  • Certification: CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting senior government managers on IA issues.
  • Familiarity with NRO cybersecurity policiesandNIST RMF workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end security engineering and integration.
