Fan Experience Hosts: Lead the Fan Experience function responsible for ushers/hosts positioned throughout the arena to welcome guests, assist with seating, and provide proactive support and information. Define and maintain the service culture standards for the building, aligning Fan Experience behaviors with Halo Sports & Entertainment and LA Clippers values. Ensure Fan Experience staffing models, positions, and zones align with ingress/egress plans, concourse flow, premium experiences, and key fan wayfinding points. Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive training programs focused on hospitality, problem-solving, accessibility, emergency procedures, and fan communication. Tech Hosts – Technology Enabled Fan Experience : Oversee the Tech Host function responsible for mobile ticket scanning, access control, app support, digital wayfinding, and other technology-enabled guest interactions. Support the design and maintenance of SOPs and digital reference tools that enable Tech Hosts to resolve common guest issues quickly and accurately. Ensure Tech Hosts provide real-time feedback on technology performance, guest pain points, and emerging issues, feeding directly into post-event reviews and platform improvements. Event Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with GM, Booking, Event Production, Building Operations, Ticketing, Concessions, Parking, and other departments to develop and execute comprehensive event operations plans. Ensure alignment of security, Fan Experience, and Tech Host staffing with event type, attendance, risk profile, and specific promoter/league/artist requirements. Conduct detailed post-event debriefs that incorporate data and feedback from Security, Fan Experience, Tech Hosts, and other internal and external partners; implement improvements in a timely manner. People Leadership & Culture Recruit, hire, train, and develop leaders and team members across Security, Fan Experience, and Tech Hosts with an emphasis on professionalism, empathy, and a fan-first mindset. Foster a culture of safety, service, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement . Provide clear, consistent direction and coaching; conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans for key leaders. Your Background, Skills and Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in security, venue operations, sports/entertainment, or large-scale hospitality environments; experience overseeing both security and guest-facing operations strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, Hospitality, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, Crowd Management) preferred. Demonstrated success managing large, diverse teams, including contract staff and/or third-party service partners. Deep understanding of security operations, crowd management, emergency response, and risk management best practices in arenas or similar large venues. Experience working with law enforcement, fire/life safety, emergency services, and regulatory agencies. Familiarity with advanced security technologies (CCTV, access control, incident management systems) and guest-facing technologies (mobile ticketing, venue apps, access control hardware, feedback tools). Proven ability to interpret and apply league standards (e.g., NBA Arena Security Procedures & Guidelines) and promoter/artist/security riders. Strong financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships. Ability to learn, contribute, and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes repeated security and safety rounds inside and outside of community buildings
  • Follows security schedules and job routines
  • Clearly & concisely communicates in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner with all residents, visitors, & team members
  • Quickly, accurately, and appropriately interprets and responds to resident’s urgent care needs and dispatch appropriate response(s) to calls for assistance
  • Uses personal computers and programs tied to the campus emergency response system
  • Works in conjunction with SARA system
  • Uses equipment daily including vehicles, radios, computers, carts, phones, computers 
  • Complies with infection control regulations, guidelines, and policies
  • Assists in in-servicing relating to security such as fire drills, emergency evacuation
  • Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service setting as security or related field is preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions and converse in English
  • Valid driver's license with a clean background
  • Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults
